The 28-strong Lily B team achieved redemption at the Cup Final by taking a solid third place behind Bracknell & Guildford. Scores - Bracknell 450/Guildford &G 417.5/K&P 284/AFD 280.5/S&D 248/E&E 159.
Best performances in the U13 group included a pb-equalling High Jump win for Phoebe Haynes(1.39),a useful debut from Soracha Healy(100/200 14.3/29.1) and a pb 800 by Molly Renfer(2.42.7),mlle Haynes being the only member in any age group to compete in all 4 fixtures. At U15 level,Harriet Lester easily took the 75H(12.0),Kelly Randall ran a pb 800(2.52.9),Emily Kneebone equalled her outdoor LJ pb at 4.56,Roseanne Mackay ran a 27.9 200 & Stephanie Pearce confirmed her promise with an 18.90 DT/1.40 HJ/7.16 SP treble. Sadly,despite courage,Mary Iheke was still seriously hampered by her knee injury. In the U17s,Jenny Davies,Amy Simmons & Bethany Wilkins scored well,with the two former taking a max. in the DT.
